Description

Learn how to make the famous non-Newtonian fluid - oobleck! Is oobleck a solid, liquid, or gas? Experiment with your own homemade oobleck and observe the changes. Have fun!

Materials List

  • 1 cup of corn starch 
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • Food coloring

Steps

  1. Pour ½ a cup of water into your mixing bowl. (0:25)
  2. Add food coloring and mix. (0:30)
  3. Add 1 cup of corn starch and mix until the corn starch is fully dissolved. (0:55)
  4. Observe the changes between solid and liquid! (1:23)
